Mobile Apps: Who cares?

So what’s the big deal? Yeah, I got this cool new “device” (not even called a phone anymore) that can friend, tweet, digg, tube, show me the closest hot dog stand, buy me movie tickets…you get the point. These things can do anything under the sun. So the question is…what can they do for your business?

Mobile Apps have started an entirely new industry. The mobile app market will grow from $1.94 billion in late 2009 to a massive $15.65 BILLION by 2013. That’s more than a 700% increase! Mobile internet usage is up 18% from last year to 38%. So as the mobile app market explodes…how does that involve your business?

Mobile apps may not be for every company, but in many cases your company can provide a better customer experience with a custom mobile app. Scheduling appointments and finding contact information quickly could be some of the basics.
